Hi Jahangir,
You can find full details in my methods chapter on cell cycle analysis, but it will work best by dissolving first in DMSO. Use a 50mM stock for cell lines or primary cells ex vivo, or you can make an even more concentrated stock (up to 250mM) if you want to then dilute it into PBS for injection into live animals. Do not put the stock directly onto cells (it will sink to the bottom of an aqueous solution and be hard to dissolve); instead make a 100x working solution by dissolving it in PBS or the culture media of your cells, then add that to the your cells.
There is a lot more detailed information in my Methods in Molecular Biology Chapters (either: H. Daniel Lacorazza (ed.), Cellular Quiescence: Methods and Protocols, Methods in Molecular Biology, vol. 1686,
DOI 10.1007/978-1-4939-7371-2_8, or Methods Mol Biol. 2019;1989:193-215. doi: 10.1007/978-1-4939-9454-0_13. )
Good luck,
Greg
