Australasian Cytometry Society ASM Oct 11th - 14th Perth

You are invited to participate in the 38th Annual Scientific Meeting, Workshop and AGM of the Australasian Cytometry Society will be held in Perth, Western Australia, from Oct 11th - 14th, 2015. Please check the full conference website at http://cytometry2015.org.au/ for details.
This meeting is designed to meet the needs of clinical and research cytometry scientists and shared resource laboratory leaders in cytometry and cell sorting in Australia and New Zealand. The conference will be held in conjunction with the Australasian Society of Immunology Western Australian Branch Meeting. Topics include;
• Highly multiparameter cytometry
• Applications of cytometry in human immunology
• Flow cytometry in the diagnosis of haematological malignancies,
• Minimal residual disease analysis,
• Training and competency in flow cytometry,
• Frontier and non-mammalian cytometry,
• Analysis of platelets and small particles,
• Recent advances in cytometry technology including CyTOF and spectral cytometry
Nobel Laureate Prof Barry Marshall (University of Western Australia) will open the meeting, with a raft of international guests including Dr Mario Roederer (National Institutes of Health, USA), Prof J. Paul Robinson (Purdue University), Dr Jonathan Irish (Vanderbilt University), Prof Alan Michelson (Harvard University), Prof David Barnett (University of Sheffield) and Prof Albert Orfao (Salamanca University). The conference will be preceded by half day clinical and a half day research workshop. Also, as a new feature in 2015, you will be able to attend one of four hands-on masterclasses taking place in the interactive eLearning suites at The University of Western Australia, School of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
