Live- or Fixed-Cell Barcoding With TeMal 7 Isotopes

Standard BioTools released a new barcoding solution based on Tellurium isotopes.
Please see attached.
1- Suitable for fresh and fixed cells
2- Universal (any cell type and species)
3- 7 isotopes allows for the multiplexing of up to 35 samples in 7-choose-3 scheme (can combined to cisplatin isotopes for 126 plex).
Please share your input on this product.

Hi all,

FYI: this product is not listed yet on the SBio Storefront. However, you *can* order it, you'll probably just need to contact your FAS or Sales agent to get pricing info.

Background: these are the TeMal reagents first described from Mark NItz's lab: http://dx.doi.org/10.1002/cyto.a.23495

Chris Tape and others have been using it in collaboration with the Nitz Lab for a while, so there are papers for additional protocol hints in case the SBio documents are a bit sparse on details (for example, see TOBis section in Methods here: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41592-020-0737-8 ).

Researchers at UNC have also made variations on this using Selenium (SeMal) for other channels. That work hasn't been formally published yet, but has been in a couple posters at recent CYTOs. So, maybe this will expand further?
