Need to run 5-6 samples and cannot freeze & ship - Boston

My name is Anna C Belkina, I am a researcher at Boston University and know many of you here.
We have an ICS panel targeting multiple human cytokines already optimized in collab with Standard Bio Tools, and we usually freeze the stained PBMC and ship to Toronto to analyze, or take them to a core at Boston that accepts external samples (DFCI).

However, we have a project right now where we are staining iPSC-derived cells and they don’t tolerate freeze-thaw well; the yields post-thaw are very low. Our own Helios is IMC only and that cannot be changed. Normally, we would arrange the cells to be acquired locally at Dana Farber, but unfortinately their core is swamped right now (completely booked till early-mid April), and OF COURSE we are responding to reviewers who gave us very little time to execute this experiment. This is my karmic retribution for repeatedly choosing spectral flow over MC, I guess

We would gladly drive the cells to your core if it is possible to run them there, and we will be tremendously grateful for your help (and will pay!). We are talking about 5-6 samples in total, so not a huge endeavor and hopefully a one-shot thing. As of right now, we checked with Yale and they are in the middle of a transition so cannot take samples; UConn instrument is not operating at the moment. I think there are no other cores officially listed as accepting external samples in our vicinity (per Mike's thread/google sheet) so am asking for some less-official leads. Please let me know in DM or email or right here in the thread.
Thank you!

Hi Anna,

Did you check out https://rogersimagingcorp.com/mass-cytometry-cytof/ ? I think they used to be the Harvard/MGH machine, and are still listed on the Cores list.

Thanks Mike - I have filled their interest form, and heard nothing so far. Their social media are abandoned and their calendar is not updated so I did not hold high hopes, but I will try to email the person listed as a contact on your sheet.

Hi Anna,
Have you tried MGH core at Navy Yard?

Hi Anna,

I would check with the Brown University Core (https://www.brownhealth.org/centers-ser ... metry-core), I recently had a client from Pennsylvania run there successfully.

Also, happy to put you in contact with my contacts at Rogers Imaging if you prefer something local.

Best of luck!
Eric

Hi Anna,

I am happy to help you run your samples in our core. However, we are located in NYC. Please feel free to reach out me if you are running out of local options. My email is hir4001@med.cornell.edu.

Best,
Hiran
