Imaging Mass Cytometry file size and maximum area to ablate

Hello,
I have been ablating tissue ROI of about 1mm2.
However, I have a user that would like to ablate the following ROIs in one slide, i.e one .mcd file
1. 2800 um x 1800 um
2. 1800 um x 1500 um
3. 1500um x 2000 um
4. 2500 um x 1300 um
Has anyone experienced any limitation with the .mcd file size, analysis of the imaging or cell segmentation for large files?
The largest .mcd file I have produced so far is:
1. 1500 um x 800um
2. 1500 um x 800um
3 1800 um x 800 um
A total of 3.8 mm2 and a file size of 863Mb.
Based on my previous file, I am expecting a total of 14 mm2 are ablated and file size of 3.18Gb
I am wondering if it would work better to generate individual .mcd files for each ROI.
Thanks
Vinicius
