Change in Cytoforum- sending email address, new accounts

Hi all,

We got notifications from several users over the last few months that account creation seemed to have a problem, and that some people (mainly Gmail users) seemed to not be getting Cytoforum notifications.


Today, we changed the sending email from Gmail to a Stanford.edu account; I have confirmed with one of the Gmail users that they are now receiving Cytoforum notifications again. Hopefully this has fixed it for everyone.

Also, we have gone back in and activated new accounts for the last couple months. Hopefully we have also addressed the error on why we weren't getting notified for that.

Hi all,

I've been told by several users using Gmail accounts that they are now again receiving Cytoforum notifications after we switched the mailing address to a Stanford email. Yay!

Unfortunately, it appears that in most cases, the new messages are going to the Spam folder. :(


I would ask that users please pass on this information to your colleagues (if they haven't already discovered this for themselves).
