The department of Immuno-Oncology & Hematology (IOH) research at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) focuses on mechanistic analysis of host immune responses, the tumor microenvironment, and ex vivo engineered HSC therapies for hematopoietic genetic disease. We employ multidisciplinary approaches spanning from discovery of novel therapeutic targets to development of innovative treatment strategies, and flow cytometry, which is critical to our work in deciphering the immuno-biology of cancer and improving therapeutic strategies.

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Senior Scientist with extensive experience in operating, maintaining and trouble-shooting multiple different types of flow cytometers for our state-of-the-art flow cytometry facility. This role requires expertise in flow cytometry technology, experience helping scientists with data acquisition, analysis, management, the ability to provide classroom and hands-on training to users, as well as aptitude and interest to establish new flow technology and bring it in-house.
