Trying to stain for Cre (and/or ERalpha)

We have tamoxifen-inducible Cre-ERT2 mice in the lab and would like to stain for Cre (or ERalpha) but after trying several anti-cre and anti-ERalpha antibodies (conjugated ourselves or detected with a metal conjugated anti-species specific secondary), our options are running out. Keep in mind, there are only a few anti-cre antibodies available commercially that have been validated for FACS and none are available for ERalpha.

Has anyone successfully stained for Cre or ERalpha using CyTOF? Or even Flow cytometry? Or has anyone tried?

(To me, it seems redundant to stain for Cre/ERalpha after the mice have been genotyped/verified but that's just me).

Thanks in advance
