Rhodium viability stain

Does the presence of Rhodium viability stain (Rh103-DNA intercalator) influence co-staining with other metal-conjugated Abs (i.e can I combine the viability staining step with my regular surface Ab staining step)?

Re: Rhodium viability stain

Since the Rh-intercalator does not covalently modify anything (including anything on the surface), in theory there shouldn't be a reason you couldn't.

Realistically, you'll just have to try it: there could be some sort of nonspecific interaction between the Rh intercalator and something else that you can't predict, that would interfere with binding of one or the other.
