Monoisotopic Cisplatin

Hello

My question will be in reference to this post
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=740&p=2227&hilit=cisplatin#p2227
I want to use monoisotopic cisplatin Cisplatin-195Pt and Cisplatin-196Pt for antibody conjugation.
As you may have noticed in the link above and in a recently published paper below :
Distinct Cellular Mechanisms Underlie Anti-CTLA-4 and Anti-PD-1 Checkpoint Blockade : https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/28803728
They have used 4 forms of monoisotopic CIsplatin : Cisplatin-194Pt, Cisplatin-195Pt, Cisplatin-196Pt and Cisplatin-198Pt.
I contacted Fluidigm regarding acquisition of these monoisotopic cisplatins. Thet said that "they wouldnt able to provide any customer with Pt195 or Pt196, whether it is for a collaboration or for sale. they had some changes in the organization, and they restricted the exchange of reagents that are not for sale". it was almost 3 months ago
I guess we will not be able to see them in catalogue soon.
I wanted to ask if anyone knows how to synthesize monoisotopic cisplatin starting from metal/salt form of 195 and 196Pt or If there is any other source that may provide these 2 monoisotopic cispantins.
I guess 195Pt and 196Pt (metal/salt form) dont work with MaxPar Kit. Has anyone tried before ?
Thanks

Re: Monoisotopic Cisplatin

I asked a couple vendors if they could supply monoisotopic cisplatin 195Pt and 196Pt .

I requested 10 mg each from buyisotope, they told me they can provide monoisotopic cisplatin 195Pt and 196Pt . However, the quantity they could provide would be approx. 400 mg as they "need to test the produced materials e.g. iodometric titration and for isotope composition ". Thats way too much. To get 1 mM concentration I will need to dissolve in 1.3L. On the other hand, 2 more additional isotopes will be valuable for barcoding etc.

I wanted to ask if anyone else would be interested so we can make a joint effort to acquire and share monoisotopic cisplatin 195Pt and 196Pt.

Here is how platinum based CD45 barcoding looks like in comparison to palladiums (194 and 198). I use non-enriched cisplatin for live dead discrimination. However, it increases the background for 194 and 198. Therefore, having Pt 195 and 196 can be used for barcoding or antibody conjugation of interest or better live dead discrimination compared to non-enriched cisplatin.

use of nonenriched cisplatin as live-dead increases the background in 194 and 198Pt channels

Re: Monoisotopic Cisplatin

Is that metal or enriched metal salts ?
