Injector getting stuck_CYTOF2

Hi all,

We never had had issues in the past with our injector but it is becoming harder and harder to insert or remove it from the injector holder. It is not an issue with the o-ring at the extremity but it seems that it gets stuck inside the holder.
Any suggestion to sort that out?

Thanks everyone!

Re: Injector getting stuck_CYTOF2

Hi Virginie,

I'm not sure I fully understand what you're saying. You're having trouble just extracting or replacing the injector from the torch assembly?

To confirm: by "o-ring at the extremity", you mean the one that fits under the clear-ish/white screw-cap at the inside end?

If so, I think there's another o-ring *inside* the torch assembly hole that the injector slides into. I think it's about even with the metal face plate of the torch assembly, and it's kinda hard to see, and annoying to get to. If that internal one has gotten stiff, that might explain your difficulties.

Thanks Mike,

It is exactly that, I will try to get to this o-ring then ;)

Best,

Virginie
