Negatives split in 4

Hello all, a naïve question (maybe not): why is there 4 negatives subsets in a cytof fcs tube? How to deal with cells positive for one marker that split in two on the other axis? Transformation? But doesn't that create subsets that do not exist or eliminate true negatives? I don't like to play around with signals after acquisition. Thanks for you help.

Hi Marodon,

I'm not sure I understand what you're talking about. Could you show us some example data, including information on the panel you used, model of instrument, and type of sample (PBMCs, whole-blood, etc)?
