Hi all,
I heard back from some ISAC folks in direct email:
"FlowRepository had a hardware failure and ISAC is actively working on a solution, but don't have a specific estimate for when FlowRepository is expected to be back online. ISAC considers it a top priority."

Hi,
I am experiencing an error while trying to download attachments and FCS. Is it at my side?
Of course, I did refresh the page, did use a new private window and even another web browser. I also tried being logged in or anonymous.
Best,
Samuel

Hi Samuel,
Based on your filename, I think you were trying to access HIMC control replicates-Gates ID: FR-FCM-Z2YR
Since that's a dataset I uploaded, I made sure to *not* log in (ie, remain anon). I was using Firefox on a Mac.
One thing I'm noticing is that the CAPTCHA doesn't seem to stay checked; see attached screenshot. While trying to download the entire batch (roughly 1GB), I had to check it at *least* 7 times, and it took *way* longer to create the ZIP than the projected 4 minutes......I eventually gave up after 30 minutes. I'm not sure if that's an issue on the ZIP end, or if it's a CAPTCHA security issue.
I then tried a single file ( 02Feb18_Helios1_Plate3_Sample2_HIMCctrl.fcs ; the first file at 23.8MB), and got your F5 error.
I then tried a completely different dataset/file ( FR-FCM-Z3SN ; CD45_live_Medulla_stim_CD8+ vs CD4.fcs , listed as 119.1 KB) and also got the F5 error.
So, yes, there appears to be an issue with download.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your feedback.
I sent a ticket. Let's see, I am patient.
I wish ISAC could allocate enough money to build a stronger infra-structure for those growing data and to add a mirror in Europe.

Hi Samuel,
I was able to download a file from FR this morning. I only tried one file (rather than a large zipped download of multiple files), but you might try it again.

Hi all,
Some of you may have noticed already, but apparently FR's domain license expired on 5/28/22 and therefore the site is currently inaccessible.
"flowrepository.org expired on 05/28/2022 and is pending renewal or deletion"
I don't have any further information, I just wanted to make sure users are aware of this. I'll post again when it's back up.

It was announced on the Purdue flow list that
"The repository can be temporarily accessed here:
http://flowrepository.compbio.cs.cmu.edu/They’re working on renewing the license."
