FlowRepository appears to be working now at the original http://flowrepository.org/ address
Re: FlowRepository down?
Hi all,
I have been unable to access FlowRepository this week at all, from either the regular http://flowrepository.org/ address, or the http://flowrepository.compbio.cs.cmu.edu/ address.
I keep getting a 503 error from both:
"Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
Apache/2.2.22 (Ubuntu) Server at flowrepository.compbio.cs.cmu.edu Port 80"

Re: FlowRepository down?
Hi all,
I have been able to access Flow Repository. However, I have been unable to download any files from there. I keep getting "An error occurred while communicating with the server. You may want to refresh the page (F5) and try again."
I've tried refreshing. I've tried both Firefox and Chrome (on a Mac). I've even tried logging in. None of it has worked to download even an Excel file (someone's antibody panel).
I tried both the regular Flowrepository.org address, and the CMU.edu version. The CMU.edu doesn't seem to have the CAPTCHA set up right, so I can't even try to download.
Has anyone had success since it came back up this week?

Re: FlowRepository down?
Hello,
I was accessed about 3 hours ago and couldn't download a CyTOF dataset of ~8GB size and got the same error as you mentioned. After that, I downloaded the fluorescence flow cytometry dataset of the same paper (~1GB) without an error. I thought that the error might be due to file size. Apparently, it's not the case for your situation.
Technical details:
OS: Windows 10
Browser: Firefox
Datasets: FR-FCM-ZYQ9 (CyTOF), FR-FCM-ZYQB (Fluorescent flow cytometry)
Website: https://flowrepository.org/
Best regards,
Ergün
