CyTOF tunning files

Hello all,

Does anyone try to save and open the tunning files before ? I notice that CyTOF has the option to save the tunning files, but they are neither IMD. nor FCS. So, how to open these files ?

Thanks :P

Re: CyTOF tunning files

Hi Guojun,

At least with a CyTOF1, all the tuning files are a CSV file (or at least, something similar).

Therefore, you can open them in Excel or something similar.

Thanks Mike,

I have tried Excel. It is very convenient to open these tuning files.

Appreciate the help :)

Re: CyTOF tunning files

Both v5.1.648 (CyTOF1) and v6.0.626 (CyTOF2) softwares have a check box for "dump to file" in the MPR and TOF windows for manual tuning. The file that is saved just says "File" when you view details, but its is a csv file and can be opened with Notepad or pretty much any spreadsheet software (MS Excel, Open Office, etc.).
