Hi all,

I know a lot of people use Cytobank for their analysis. Therefore, most of you probably got the announcement today that Beckman Coulter has purchased Cytobank:

Re: Beckman Coulter purchased Cytobank

Becton Dickinson owns FlowJo. Cytek has an agreement with De Novo for FCS Express (though I'm guessing it's not exclusive). Now Beckman Coulter snagged Cytobank.

I wonder what all of these will mean for the field. Personally I preferred the modularity where you can pick any instrument you want and match it with any piece of software. I truly hope that does not change.
