Slide Scanner

Good Afternoon Forum. I was wondering if anyone could make a recommendation (and approximate cost if known) for an inexpensive slide scanner that will produce reasonable images for the Hyperion. Thank you.

Re: Slide Scanner

Hi Jay,

I would also be interested in this, did you find a good solution for it? We are about to buy a book scanner because we couldn't find a slide scanner that would give us a picture of the whole slide and not just the area with tissue. I'll let you know how that works out.

Re: Slide Scanner

Short update on this topic: the bookscanner/documentscanner is working ok, images can be aligned well and quality is sufficient. Ours is called "Jourist BS16", we spent appr. 300 Euro for it via amazon. https://tinyurl.com/vc98vk7
