This group is responsible for developing and validating biomarker assays and its translation into the clinic in alignment with therapy area partners. Data from this group is a key component to the understanding of disease signatures and treatment responses for individual patients; and serves to enable studies to prove target engagement for novel mechanism of action and safety endpoints. Important deliverables from this group include characterization of biomarker expression, immunophenotyping and evidence of target engagement in tissue biopsies from clinical trials.

This individual will serve as a US technical expert in Imaging Mass Cytometry, providing scientific leadership and guidance on the use of Imaging Mass Cytometry with a focus on understanding the distribution of multiplexed biomarkers in the tissue microenvironment. This role will conduct and oversee all aspects of method development, trouble-shooting, validation and sample analysis for non-clinical and clinical studies requiring Imaging Mass Cytometry endpoints.
