Re: 9th Annual Fluidigm Mass Cytometry Summit

Hello CyTOF Community,

Just a quick note to let you know that Fluidigm is committed to holding the 9th Annual Mass Cytometry Summit this year, even if it takes a virtual form.

So if you are interested in attending in 2020, either physically or virtually, and want to receive regular updates on this event please do register. It will help us greatly to get a sense of the number of attendees we will need to accommodate.

We have an excellent speaker line up this year and it is still evolving - http://www.fluidigm.com/summit2020 . If we do move to a virtual event it may be an opportunity to enable even more participation from this amazing community, both as attendees and as presenters, although the face-to-face interactions will be missed by us all.

Please do register if you have not already (http://www.fluidigm.com/summit2020) and feel free to send me a note with your thoughts on holding a virtual event this year at clare.rogers@fluidigm.com.

We are exploring contingency plans and we will post an update on CytoForum in the new future.

Lastly - many CyTOF users are involved in COVID-19 research projects. If you would like to let the world know what you are doing please drop me a line. We are building out a COVID-19 focused webpage and would be excited to include a blurb about your work there.

Re: 9th Annual Fluidigm Mass Cytometry Summit

Hello CyTOF Community,

In light of the recent cancellation of CYTO we have decided to roll this year's Summit to a virtual platform! We're excited about the opportunity this will provide many more in the community to participate.

We have not yet settled on a new date, but please stay tuned for that announcement, expected by the end of April.

We have informed our confirmed speakers and the great majority of them have indicated interest in still participating, so long as the date works for them.

Finally, please do continue to register so that you are on our mailing list to receive updates about the Summit. http://www.fluidigm.com/summit2020 (The registration page will be updated soon to reflect the meeting changes.)
Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with your thoughts regarding our virtual meeting.

Wishing you all best of health - especially those who are still going into the lab and/or seeing patients. I know that we all appreciate your efforts and willingness to put yourself at risk.
